Welcome to EHUE Physical Education!

Eden Hall's Physical Education program has been designed to empower students to develop habits of mind and body that support wellness throughout a lifetime. The focus is on four key pillars: 

  1. Movement, Activity, & Fitness
  2. Nutrition & Hydration
  3. Mental Health
  4. Sleep & Recovery 

This class will allow students to explore many different team sports, cooperative games & activities, and fitness while integrating health and wellness topics & goal setting into the lessons.

Curriculum

Physical Education class is once/week for 45 minutes for Grades 4-6.

Expectations

Students are expected to follow the RAMS Way in Physical Education Class! We strive to create a positive, active, safe, engaging, enjoyable learning environment for all ability levels.  Students are expected to participate and put forth their best effort.

    • Use teacher directed voice level (0-2)

    • Include others in activities

    • Use appropriate language 

    • Use equipment properly

    • Follow directions and rules

    • Show good sportsmanship and teamwork “cheer for your team”

    • Wear athletic shoes and proper clothes

Keys to Success and Grading

At the end of each quarter, students will receive a grade on their report card for Physical Education. This grade reflects participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, demonstrating knowledge content through various assessments, personal growth through goal setting, as well as acquisition and application of new skills. 

E (Extending) - Student has mastered all skills and concepts and gone above and beyond to seek additional enrichment opportunities.

P (Proficient) - Student has mastered all skills and concepts.

D (Developing) - Student is still working on developing skills and concepts.
