Sixth-Grade End-of-Year Celebration Details
We are thrilled to share more exciting details about our upcoming Grade 6 End of Year Celebration on June 5! After working closely with our students and teachers to create a memorable experience, we are ready to honor all of our Grade 6 students in a special and meaningful way. Here’s what you can expect:
Grade 6 Final Breakfast
We will begin the morning with a Grade 6 Final Breakfast at school, which will include all Grade 6 students and their teachers. This breakfast is a wonderful way for our students to reflect on their time at EHUE and celebrate their accomplishments with their peers and teachers. The breakfast will take place in the EHUE cafeteria. All students should report to homeroom first.
Beach-Themed Clap-Out
Following breakfast, the excitement continues with a beach-themed clap-out! All Grade 4 and Grade 5 students, along with EHUE staff, will line the building to cheer on our Grade 6 students as they take their final walk through the school. It’s a joyful send-off, and we encourage parents to join in the fun! You’ll be able to line the hallway and cheer for your child as they walk by.
All parents planning to attend must sign up using this Google form by May 20. Parents will check into the main office the morning of June 5 starting at 9:15 am. Our office team will have tables and visitor passes prepared and will direct parents to the proper location.
Final Stretch and Pictures
The clap-out will end at the auditorium, where we will have a chance to capture this milestone moment. Parents are invited to join their children in the auditorium for photos, ensuring a lasting memory of this important day. The auditorium will close at 10:30 am to ensure the school is cleared for dismissal.
Important Notes
- Arrival Time: Students should arrive at school on time to participate in all of the day’s activities.
- Signing In: Parents wishing to join the clap-out must sign in through the main office before proceeding to line up.
- Sign Out: After pictures, parents will sign their child out at the S door tables. You must pre-register your child for an early dismissal through this Google form in order to sign them out after the celebration. Otherwise, all students will report back to homeroom for dismissal. Please note, this form must be completed by May 20. If your child will be carpooling with another parent, the form must be completed by all parties.
We are excited to celebrate our Grade 6 students and can’t wait to see them shine on June 5. If you have any questions or need further details, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the main office at 724-443-1450.
